Typhinity is a response to the challenges of soil degradation and the uncontrolled proliferation of typha in Mauritania. Our mission is to transform typha, an invasive species, into organic compost, thereby improving soil quality while reducing the use of chemical fertilizers. The project focuses on the agricultural town of Rosso, where we also aim to empower rural women by providing them with jobs and training in good farming practices.
