Lao Coffee Association was established in 1994 as the Lao Coffee Exporter Association and fully registered as the Lao Coffee Association in 2005. As of today, it has 98 members including 89 companies, 9 cooperatives and 5 production groups, 3 Coffee Shops. Uniting the Lao coffee sector into one for the benefit of all parties to promote the Lao coffee uniqueness to domestic and world market. Laos PDR is landlocked country in Southeast Asia, covering 236,800 square kilometers, 18 Provinces, with total population 7 million. Coffee makes up 80% of the country's agricultural exports. 80,000 hectares are used for coffee production in Southern Laos.
